Deadshift wasn’t born in a sterile boardroom; it was forged in a cold garage on a Friday night, somewhere in the heart of Walsall. It started with the lingering smell of engine oil and the sound of a distorted guitar riff tearing through a pair of worn-out speakers.

For years, I felt like I was living two lives. By day, it was the daily grind. But by night, my world was about two things: the raw power of automotive machinery and the aggressive energy of heavy music. It was about the satisfaction of rebuilding an engine bolt by bolt, and the release of a perfectly timed metalcore breakdown. My passions were loud, gritty, and mechanical.
